Fraud and corruption affect the financial and operational objectives of NATO and that of the Allies.
By their nature, these acts can also significantly damage the reputation and credibility of the Organization, as going directly against the values it upholds.
Whilst it is impossible to reduce the occurrence of fraud and corruption to zero, developing effective mechanisms to prevent, detect and combat these threats are instrumental to safeguard the interests and credibility of the Alliance.
