Welcome to the Joint Force Training Centre!
The Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) is a part of the Allied Command Transformation (ACT). Its status and legal framework derives from NATO's status agreements as well as supplementary agreements signed by the Polish Government and HQ ACT. The Memorandum of Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and Headquarters, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) regarding the establishment and support to the NATO Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) on the territory of the Republic of Poland (JFTC MOA) was signed on 13 April 2005 in Brussels and ratified by Poland on 27 September 2005.
The JFTC staff consists of one hundred and five officers, non-commissioned officers and NATO civilians from eighteen Allied Nations and Partnership for Peace Nations. The JFTC is also supported by Polish military and civilian personnel from the Support Unit and 29 contractors.
The JFTC is the first NATO military installation on Polish soil and it commenced operations in June 2004. The City of Bydgoszcz kindly welcomed the JFTC and cooperation with local military and civilian authorities met the JFTC requirements.
