New Chief of Staff at Joint Force Training Centre

On Monday, 12 July 2005, Brigadier General Constantin Veselinov Popov from the Bulgarian Air Force started his new appointment as Chief of Staff at Joint Force Training Centre. He follows Brigadier General Simeon Simeonov who has been appointed as Chief of Staff of the Bulgarian Air Force and promoted to Major General.

Brigadier General Popov graduated from the Air Academy in Dolna Mitropolia with a Masters Degree in military sciences and graduated with Masters Degrees from Command and Staff College "G.S. Rakovski", Sofia, in 1992 and the Air War College, USA, in 2001.

During his service in the Bulgarian Air Force Brigadier General Popov was appointed to different posts in commanding and staff functions, last as of 2002 as Commander of 3rd Air Force Base.

Brigadier General Popov is married and has two sons and one daughter.
